Woolacombe Bay Unveils New Development

Easter 2016 sees the opening of the £4 million development at Woolacombe Bay Holiday Village in Devon, where new facilities include a re-developed family entertainment centre housing an all-day cafe with a sea view terrace and an entertainment lounge and bar.

Other new highlights include a cinema, a children’s soft play area, a fitness gym, a pottery painting studio and an indoor pool with fun water features. There are also new accommodation options including a range of caravan holiday homes, including the luxurious 'Platinum' with central heating and double glazing.

Existing facilities – many complimentary – include a steam room and sauna, a nine-hole family golf course, an indoor soft play area and a volleyball court, along with children’s clubs and entertainment. At Easter there will be themed activities such as Easter egg hunts.

Holidaymakers can also pay a supplement to enjoy a range of other facilities such as a climbing wall, a bungee trampoline, kiddy karts, surf lessons and equipment hire, plus spa and treatment rooms.

To celebrate the opening of the redevelopment, Woolacombe Bay is offering Easter savings of up to 20% for on-line bookings made by February 28. For example, a four-night midweek break beginning on March 28 2016 for a family of four staying in a two-bedroom caravan home (with heating in lounge and bedrooms) is now priced at £251, saving £88. A stay in a brand new centrally-heated Platinum caravan holiday home (sleeping six) now cost£479, a reduction of £150.
