Voyages Jules Verne World of Wonders 2016 Brochure

Voyages Jules Verne has launched its latest 'Worlds of Wonder' brochure with departures until April 2017. The redesigned brochure is now compact-sized and features short break, long-haul and multi-centre itineraries across Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia and The Americas. New options include tours in Slovakia and Southern India and new exclusive river cruises on the Elbe and Nile.

Many of the holidays featured in 'World of Wonders' also include a VJV Special Event. Foodies can follow an Evening Tapas Trail in Spain, try a Taste of Madeira or sit down to dinner with the locals in Oman, Uzbekistan and Albania. Alternatively, culture vultures will enjoy a private visit to a Palazzo in Italy, a private ballet performance in Russia or a visit to a ceramic artist’s workshop in Bolivia. Solo travellers are well catered for too, with a wider selection of 2016 departure dates available to book without single supplement to destinations as diverse as Iceland and India.

New tours include a 20-night 'Grand Tour of Southern India' which departs 29 January, 12 and 26 February, 11 March, 21 October and 4 and 18 November 2016 and costs from £2,495 per person. The price is based on two sharing and includes air travel from London, taxes, transfers, accommodation, some meals, a sightseeing programme and the services of guides and local representatives.

A new seven-night 'Bohemian Rhapsody' trip includes three nights in Prague and two nights each in the spa resort of Karlovy Vary and medieval Ceske Budejovice. Departing 8 April, 13 May, 17 June, 12 August, 2 and 16 September and 7 October 2016, the price is from £945. Again, a new six-night 'The Tatras & Beyond' itinerary travels across the Tatra Mountains from Slovenia to Poland, with three nights each in Bratlislava and Krakow. Departing 14 May, 18 June, 2 July, 6 August, 10 and 17 September and 8 October 2016, the costs is from £825. A new eight-night 'Cuba 5-Star' tour includes stays in five-star Iberostar hotels in Havana, Trinidad and Cayo Santa Maria. With departures on 12 May, 2 June, 28 July, 11 August, 8, 22 and 29 September, 6 and 20 October, 3 and 17 November and 1 December 2016, the price is from £1,595.

Voyages Jules Verne has expanded its selection of exclusive cruises in 2016, adding, for example, an eight-night 'Princely Treasures on the Elbe' from Prague to Berlin, visiting Dresden, Meissen and Potsdam. The cruise departs 29 May 2016 and costs from £1,995 pp. Also, a four-night spring-time sailing on 9 April 2016, 'The Art of Amsterdam and The Hague' costs from £795 including an early booking offer of £30 per person on bookings made by 28 January. A new seven-night cruise from Cairo to Luxor, 'The Original Nile by Nile Steamer' on board the luxury SS Misr departs on 12 April 2016 and costs from £2,995.
