Boxing Day saw the launch of a joint marketing campaign by national tourist board VisitEngland and holiday rental agency and part of the Hoseasons Group, cottages4you.
The £1million multimedia marketing campaign is aimed at inspiring British holidaymakers to take a cottage break in England and enjoy the destinations on their doorstep during 2012. A new television advertisement has been created aimed at families, and will particularly focus on cottages located in the countryside and on the coast. This will be supported with newspaper advertising, online advertising, direct marketing and radio.
