Travel Indochina Trans-Mongolian Adventure

Travel Indochina is offering an exclusive 17-day Trans-Mongolian Adventure that departs on July 2.

The itinerary operates once this year to coincide with the Naadam Festival and gives travellers an opportunity to meet local reindeer herders, stay in traditional

"qers"  and ride camels across Mongolia's landscape.

The itinerary is being highlighted as ideal for travellers looking to explore exciting, off-the-beaten-track regions and includes a two-day trip on the Trans-Mongolian Railway

Other experiences include an optional hike or horse ride to the top of an extinct volcanic crater, a visit to a local Buddhist monastery and free time in the capital city of Ulan Bator, before being treated to a farewell traditional Mongolian concert.

Prices lead in at £2,560 per person based on two sharing or £2,935 based on single occupancy. The company's "willing to share" option is also available at twin share prices. Prices include six nights' hotel accommodation, nine nights' accommodation in "qer" camps, overnight train journey, a domestic flight, road transport in air-conditioned vehicles, sightseeing as specified, entrance fees, guides, transfers, breakfast, ten lunches and 12 dinners.
