Thomas Cook First Longhaul Flights From Stansted

Thomas Cook Airlines has announced that, for Summer 2015, it will operate flights from Stansted to Orlando, Cancun and Las Vegas, becoming the only airline to offer a long haul programme from the airport.

Last year, Thomas Cook Airlines announced that from June 2014 it will operate two aircraft from Stansted using the larger Airbus A321 replacing the existing A320 serving 18 destinations from the airport.

With long haul flights on a larger Airbus A330, the additional flights in 2015 will begin on the weekend of Friday 17 July - with two flights a week to Orlando and one per week to both Cancun and Las Vegas and continue up until the 17 August 2015.

Flight only deals from Stansted to Las Vegas start from 749 return, to Cancun from 759 and to Orlando from 899. Prices include baggage allowance and meals.

Sample holiday packages include seven nights room-only in Las Vegas from 965 per person with Airtours. Accommodation is at the three-star Circus Circus Hotel on the Strip and flights are from Stansted on 3 August 2015. With Thomas Cook, 14 nights in Orlando starts from 1185 per person staying at the three-star Rosen Inn International on International Drive on Room Only basis, with flights from Stansted on 17 July 2015. Also with Thomas Cook, 14 nights in Mexico leads in at 1889 per person for an All-Inclusive stay at the four-star Gran Caribe Real Hotel in Cancun, flying from Stansted on 18 July 2015.
