Taber Holidays Adds New Tours

Taber Holidays has added new tours to its Summer holiday programme in Scandinavia. Clients can choose to enjoy long hours under the Midnight Sun, go glacial hiking in Iceland, whale watching in Norway or spend days driving through regions of forest, waterfalls and mountains. And for those who enjoy city life, then Copenhagen, Stockholm, Oslo, Helsinki and Reykjavik provide some of the world's best restaurants, museums, bars and shopping streets.

One new option is a luxury holiday in Norway's Lyngen Alps and Tromsø. The seven-night fly/drive trip combines five nights at the Lyngen Lodge and two nights in the harbour-side Rica Ishavshotell in Tromsø. Situated in secluded woodland overlooking the snow-capped Lyngen Alps and clear waters of the Lyngenfjord, the lodge provides luxury accommodation and cuisine, catering for 18 guests, and also offers a sauna and outdoor hot tub. A range of optional excursions is available including kayaking, hiking, deep-sea fishing, ice-climbing, horse-riding and Midnight Sun trek.

Prices start from £2264 per person and include flights from Heathrow to Tromsø, via Oslo, car hire with unlimited mileage, five nights at the Lyngen Lodge with breakfast, packed lunch, afternoon tea and dinner, two nights at the Rica Isvhasvhotell with breakfast and transfers.

The package is based on two sharing and departs daily between June 12 and September 30 2013.

Other new trips include a 14-day fly/drive tour exploring the coast of Iceland and a five-night Sweden Wildlife itinerary.
