Sykes Cottages Adds Anglesey Options

Sykes Cottages now offers 160 cottages on the popular island of Anglesey in its rental portfolio.

One new property is Y Lleiaf, the last of a row of seven old cottages above the sandy cove of Porth Dafarch beach which holds a coveted Blue Flag and offers rock pools and a slipway for boat launches. Trearddur Bay, which offers restaurants and shops, is a scenic twomile walk along the island’s coastal path. Holyhead Golf Club is two miles away by road.

The house has been modernised to accommodate a family of five with a groundfloor double bedroom and bathroom and a children’s room upstairs with three single beds. The openplan living/dining room has a practical wood floor, circular dining table and comfy seating, plus a woodburner as a focal point on cooler evenings. The slatefloored kitchen is well equipped. Outside there is plenty of room to let off steam, with an open barn behind the cottage which can also be used as a bike store, unfenced lawns to the front (shared) as well as the beach 200 yards below.

Available to rent from 1 December 2015, Y Lleiaf (ref 930644) is currently available for Christmas and New Year 2015 as well as peak summer 2016 weeks.

A week’s rental for a family of five in 2016 ranges from £311 to £717. Five nights at Christmas or New Year is £509.
