SWISS Adds Singapore to Network

Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) has announced that it will add Singapore to its route network in May next year. Singapore will be SWISS’s eighth Asian destination.

The carrier will introduce daily non-stop flights between Zurich and Singapore on May 12 2013. Singapore is one of Asia’s prime economic hubs and flights are expected to be popular with both business and tourist travellers including those using Singapore as a stopover point.

SWISS will operate the new route with Airbus A340-300 equipment offering 219 seats. Flights will leave Zurich at 22:45, arriving in Singapore at 17:10 the following day. The return flight leaves Singapore at 23:50, arriving in
