SAS Scandinavian Switches Bergen Flights to Manchester

SAS Scandinavian Airlines has announced that it will end flights from Gatwick to Bergen on November 1 2011 and instead begin twice-weekly services from Manchester to the Norwegian city on January 6 2012.

The Monday and Friday flights depart Bergen at 1900, arriving in Manchester at 1945. Flights from Manchester will depart at 2023, arriving in Bergen at 2315

The new route is Manchester's first to Bergen which will continue to be served from Gatwick by Norwegian Air Shuttle and from Heathrow by Bmi.
