Regent Launches Winter Brochure

Regent Holidays has announced the launch of its latest Iceland & the Arctic Winter brochure which features a collection of short breaks, group tours, fly-drives and tailor-made holidays for 2016/17.

New to the programme is a range of excursions by air in Iceland, a selection of winter breaks in the heart of Lapland and some off-the-beaten-track fly-drives where travellers can go in search of the northern lights on the islands of Vesteralen and Lofoten in Norway.?

One new accommodation option is the brand new Artic TreeHouse Hotel in Lapland which opens in December 2016. Each private pod-suite has a warm wooden interior and includes a glass feature-wall providing unlimited views of the forest and winter skies.? Four-day stays start from £1629 per person which includes flights in economy class to Rovaniemi with Finnair via Helsinki from Heathrow and return airport transfers from Rovaniemi airport to the hotel, accommodation with breakfast and excursions (visit to the reindeer farm, husky safari and snowmobile safari).

Another new idea is 'Scenic Lofoten' a six-day fly/drive tour around Lofoten and its islands which costs from £1280 per person. The price includes return flights from Heathrow to Solvaer via Oslo, hotel accommodation in a twin/double room with en suite facilities and breakfast, car hire in N-class (VW Polo or similar) including pick up/drop off at Harstad/Narvik airport, unlimited mileage, airport service charge, CDW/TP insurance and tax, Northern lights and RIB boat trip excursions and a 24-hour emergency support number.
