Regent Holidays Discover Iceland

Regent Holidays is promoting a range of holidays to Iceland, encouraging visitors to discover the destination year-round.

A five-day tailor-made 'South Iceland Summer Break' is available between April and October. The itinerary is based in Reykjavik where restaurants and galleries abound and includes excursions to the must-see natural highlights. Guests will discover nature at its best; visiting steep cliffs packed with puffins and looking for humpbacks on a whale watching cruise. The trip costs from £895 per person.

An eight-day 'Iceland Express Fly-drive', also April to October, allows visitors to explore the entire coastline; watching whales off the northern coast, discovering remote villages and hiking in the east, experiencing the arctic bird life that call the west fjords home and exploring the south coast's waterfalls, geysers and black sand beaches. The tour costs from £1435 per person.

If travellers prefer a guided holiday with a group of like-minded travellers, Regent's 'Iceland Complete' group tour is a perfect option for first-time visitors. With regular departures from April through until September, the trip begins in the south to discover the classic natural wonders around Reykjavik, including the Golden Circle, before travelling to the rugged East Coast, exploring the Lake Myvatn area and setting out to watch for whales in the north. Guests will also visit local museums, see the sights and stop for a dip in the Blue Lagoon. Prices start from £2525 per person.
