Ramblers Worldwide: New Tours for 2012
Ramblers Worldwide Holidays has added 40 new holidays to its 2012 portfolio. The guided walks operator, which has just celebrated its 65th Anniversary, now operates to 180 destinations in 60 countries.
The exciting new options include The Langtang Trek, a 14-day Tea House Trek in Nepal’s Lang Tang National Park north of Kathmandu. Prices start from £1959 per person and include return flights, transfers, four-star hotel accommodation on three nights, tea huts on eight nights and all meals.
Another new tour is a two-week New York State scenic journey (mostly by train) from Southern Ontario to New York City with the Niagara Falls, gorges and a little shopping en route. Prices start from £2389 per person, including return flights, transfers, bed and breakfast accommodation and dinner on eight nights.
Closer to home, a 10-day Walking on Gomera holiday costs from £919 per person and includes return flights, transfers (a 90 minute boat ride from Los Cristianos in Tenerife) and half-board accommodation. All tours include the services of a dedicated tour leader.
