Naturetrek New Wildlife Tours

Wildlife holiday specialist Naturetrek has launched a number of new tours in 2018 with options including gorilla trekking in the Republic of Congo, birdwatching in the cloudforests of Colombia and cruising the seas around the remote Indonesian islands of Raja Ampat.

As an example, an eight-day 'Endangered Monk Seals & Ancient History' tour offers a unique opportunity to spot the rarely-seen endangered Mediterranean monk seal around the coastline of Greece and the islands of the Aegean Sea. Run in conjunction with MOm (The Hellenic Society for the Study and Protection of the Monk Seal), the trip also explores the mountainous region’s birdlife, plants and ancient history. Departing 19 May 2018, prices start from £1,695.

A nine-day 'Elusive Mammals & Spectacular Scenery' tour to Finland includes a visit to beautiful Lake Saimaa in Linnansaari National Park to look for the endemic and rare Saimaa ringed seal. Guests will spend time in comfortable hides looking out for wolverine, brown bear and wolf, and perhaps spot the elusive Siberian flying squirrel in the Patvinsuo National Park. Departing 1 July 2018, prices start from £2,295.

Naturetrek's tour prices are based on two people sharing and include return flights from London, all transport on the tour, hotel or lodge-style accommodation, meals and excursions as per the itinerary and tours led by global experts and local naturalist guides.
