Loganair Adds Summer 2018 Routes

Loganair has unveiled new routes for summer 2018.

On May 10 2018, the Scottish regional airline is launching a new three-times weekly service linking Manchester and Inverness with Bergen, gateway to the Norwegian fjords. Operating year round, it will be Inverness's second regular international service and it will join Loganair's existing flights to Bergen from Glasgow, Shetland and Orkney.

Loganair is also introducing the first ever non-stop services from Manchester to the three main Scottish islands of Shetland, Orkney and the Western Isles. Weekly services to Stornoway and Sumburgh (June 23 to September 1) will join twice-weekly flights from Manchester to Kirkwall (June 22 to September 3).

New flights will also operate over the summer between Norwich and Inverness, from June to September every Monday and Friday; from Norwich to the Isle of Man to meet demand over the world-famous TT Races in the Isle of Man; and from Glasgow to Guernsey, where a new Saturday service will be introduced from May 26 to September 15.

The island of Fair Isle, where the airfield is run by the National Trust for Scotland, will receive two flights every week on Mondays and Fridays from Kirkwall between May 25 and October 5, with onward connections to Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Inverness, Manchester and Norwich via other Loganair services.

Since September 2017, Loganair has been flying again as an independent airline after nearly three decades of services under franchise agreements with other airlines. It flies to 41 destinations across the UK, Republic of Ireland and Norway and offers a free 20kg baggage allowance, free in-flight refreshments and a commitment to no credit or debit card payment surcharges. It also works closely with codeshare partners, British Airways and bmi Regional, allowing passengers to travel to over 200 destinations with one booking.
