Scottish regional airline Loganair has announced it will begin flying out of Bournemouth airport with the launch of two new seasonal services to the Channel Islands.

Flights to Jersey and Guernsey will run from April to October 2019, operated using 37-seat Embraer 135 jet aircraft.

Jersey flights will take approximately 45 minutes and are available on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays. The Guernsey flight takes around 40 minutes and will operate once a week on a Saturday. Lead-in fares are £46.99 one-way for both routes.

Loganair operates a fleet of 30 aircraft serving over 40 routes across the UK, Republic of Ireland and Norway. It has expanded recently with new routes from Glasgow and Edinburgh to Guernsey and between Norwich and Jersey. It has also announced new daily flights between Glasgow and Dusseldorf and Edinburgh and Islay to begin on March 31 2019. The airline offers full-inclusive fares with benefits such as 20kg of hold luggage and 6kg cabin luggage, complimentary in-flight service and child discounts.
