LD Lines Offers New Route to Spain

LD Lines has announced the introduction of a new UK to Spain service between Poole and Santander in Northern Spain which starts on November 3 2013.

The new service will operate twice weekly (Tuesday and Saturday from Poole, Thursday and Sunday from Santander) with a crossing time of 26 hours. The route is operated by the Norman Asturias with capacity for 500 passengers and 200 cars.

Complementing LD Lines' existing France to Spain route between Saint Nazaire, south of Brittany and Gijón in Northern Spain, the service represents a major development to the company's creation of an Atlantic ferry network, providing new links to serve the UK, French, Spanish and Portuguese freight and tourist markets and making regions such as the Algarve within easier reach for UK motorists.

An introductory fare of £399 return for two passengers in a cabin and a car is available for the first 500 bookings.
