Haven Holidays What's New for 2017

Haven Holidays is investing more than £50m on upgrading its 36 holiday parks across the UK. The operator's 2017 brochure features details of the new sports facilities, accommodation and swimming pools which are due to be completed by March.

New outdoor activities include water sports at Primrose Valley Holiday Park in Yorkshire, such as paddleboarding and kayaking on the on-site lake. Lakeland Leisure Park in Cumbria will operate a high-ropes course, while Segways will be introduced at Marton Mere, Presthaven and Primrose Valley.

All parks will add to the free daytime entertainment this year. Options include 'expreiMental', an interactive science show hosted by a 'mad professor', and 'Greedy's Get Up' which involves making a costume out of recycled material with Greedy the Gorilla. These shows will run at all parks except Far Grange and Lydstep Beach. All Haven parks will launch 'Jungle Adventure', an interactive show featuring reptiles and 'creepy crawlies', and most will introduce a FunStar Boot Camp at which youngsters can learn a dance routine with Haven characters.

Park upgrades include the refurbishment of Hafan Y Mor indoor pool with a new slide and water features; a revamp of the outdoor pool and decking at Devon Cliffs; and improvements to the outdoor pool at Doniford Bay.

The operator is currently offering incentives such as a low deposit of £60 and discounts of up to 25% on bookings made by February 6 2017. Four-night pring breaks (March 17 to May 25) start from £99 for a family; three-night Easter breaks (March 31 to April 23) start from £159 for a family. Three-night May half-term breaks start from £259 and seven-night early summer holidays (between June 2 and July 20) start from £269.
