Glenton Holidays releases new solo traveller brochure

Glenton Holidays has launched a new 2010 brochure for its solo travel brand, Good Companions.

New holidays for 2010 include an Awesome Aviemore tour, based at the stunning Macdonald Aviemore Highland Resort (five days, £279).

Other additions include the tour of Bewitching Bronte Country in the Yorkshire Dales (five days from £269) and a Stately England holiday (five days from £249) which includes a visit to Althorp, ancestral home of Princess Diana and the Spencer family during July.

Customers can choose between a Disco Fever or Murder Mystery holiday in the Black Country (four days from £219) – or return to their teenage heydays with the Britannia Party Time holidays in Liverpool and Nottingham (five days from £259).

Favourite destinations making a welcome return with a fresh twist include Blackpool, Yorkshire and Ireland.

Solo holidaymakers can also enjoy overseas tours in the company of like-minded folk, to destinations such as Majorca (eight days all-inclusive from £599) and Malta (8 days £599, or 15 days £799).

Glenton has also launched a recruitment campaign to expand the team of hosts for its Good Companions brand.

The rapid growth of Good Companions mirrors the soaraway success of Glenton Holidays, which saw turnover in 2009 rise by a whopping 36 percent to £7.5m (2008: £5.5m).
