Eastern Airways Announces Aberdeen-Oslo link
Eastern Airways is to launch its first service to Oslo on January 12 2009 when it starts direct flights from Aberdeen. The airline already flies to 11 destinations from Aberdeen, including Stavanger. A 50-seat Saab 2000 aircraft will operate daily services, except Saturdays, with flights taking off from Aberdeen at 10.20am, arriving in Oslo at 1.05pm local time. Departures leave Oslo at 1.45pm, landing in Aberdeen at 2.30pm local time. Sunday services leave Aberdeen at 12.20pm, landing in Oslo at 3.05pm local time.
