CityJet Adds Edinburgh Flights
Cityjet, based at London City Airport, now offers an improved schedule and extra flights between London and Edinburgh.
The airline has introduced a late Sunday night flight from London to Edinburgh and increased the overall number of services between the two cities to four a day, Monday to Friday. A new weekday flight departs London at 16.55, arriving in Scotland at 18.25. It returns from Edinburgh at 18.55, arriving at 20.25.
The new Sunday service departs London at 20.50 and arrives at 22.10. This allows CityJet to position an aircraft overnight at Edinburgh airport ready for an early morning commuter flight to London on Monday mornings. It also permits Scots visiting London to extend their weekend until Sunday night. Another addition is an early Saturday flight from Edinburgh to London, departing at 09.00.
