Cruise and Maritime Voyages has announced that it is to add seven new departures onboard the 550-passenger Astoria from Poole and Portsmouth in late summer and autumn 2018.
The move is part of CMV's expansion of regional programmes and sailings. It now offers sailings from 16 ports across the British Isles.
CMV has scheduled three departures from the Port of Poole plus two open jaw cruise combination options, with return coach transfer available back from Portsmouth to Poole. For example, a 12-night 'Grand British Isles Discovery Voyage' from September 3 2018 visits 10 ports of call and costs from £884 per person. Prices on an overnight 'Captain’s Gala Cruise' to Portsmouth on September 15, including a circumnavigation of the Isle of Wight, start from £75 per person.
From Portsmouth, Astoria will operate four different cruises: to the Norwegian fjords; the Baltic cities and St Petersburg; European rivers and canals and to the Northern Lights in northern Norway. As an example, the nine-night cruise to the Norwegian fjords leaves on September 16 2018 and prices start from £634 per person.
CMV has also introduced a new Pullman Express Coach Service to Poole and Portsmouth offering 30 different regional pick-ups across Dorset, Hampshire and Sussex from Lyme Regis in the west to Hastings in the east. Also included is a service from London Victoria. Prices start from £20 per person. On site port parking adjacent to the cruise terminals is also at both ports from £11 per night.
CMV’s new south coast programme is on sale from April 12 with 'buy one, get one free' early booking fares valid until June 30 2017.
