Biman Bangladesh Manchester-Dhaka Launch

Biman Bangladesh Airlines has announced plans to launch twice-weekly services between Manchester and Dhaka on November 2 2011. It will be Manchester airport’s longest direct route at over 10 hours and the fastest route between UK and Bangladesh.

The national airline of Bangladesh will operate a triangular route with its inbound service stopping at Heathrow and then flying on to Manchester. The outbound will run direct from Manchester to Dhaka. Flights will be operated using new B777-300ER aircraft with  a two-class cabin configuration. The Wednesday flight will arrive at 17.50 and depart at 19.20 and on Saturdays, the flight will arrive at 18.55 and depart at 20.25.
