Activities Abroad New Options for 2013

Exploring sunken cities, following in the footsteps of Tom Cruise and visiting the latest EU member are family summer holiday suggestions from Activities Abroad.

The family-activity holidays specialist is offering a range of destinations for summer 2013 including a new action-packed tour to Croatia which joins the EU on July 1. The Adriatic Family Adventure trip is based in Novigrad, a small fishing village on the Adriatic Coast, and activities include cycling, sea kayaking, white-water rafting and hiking in the dramatic, rocky Paklenica National Park. Based in apartments at a beach-front hotel, the holiday costs from £995 per adult and from £945 per child (8-14) based on four people sharing a one-bedroom apartment. The price includes flights from London, transfers, seven nights’ bed and breakfast accommodation, five other meals, all activities, equipment, instruction and guides. Departures are in May, July and August 2013.

Other new additions to the summer 2013 programme include a Turkey Active Adventure trip, an Iceland Family Adventure (where Tom Cruise has recently been filming the sci-fi thriller Oblivion) and a Portugal Active Adventure trip.

Activities Abroad is currently offering savings of £50 per person on holidays to their two destinations of the month; Portugal and the Ardeche. Bookings must be made before April 20 2013.
