Use of Moble Phones & Communications Devices in Aircraft
|
In March 2008, after rumoured discussions between o2 and Ofcom to have their phones enabled for use on certain airlines, it was confirmed that in the future there would be plans to allow the use of them on UK-registered aircraft, if they wish to do so. This is subject to approval by the relevant UK and European aviation authorities - the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) in the UK.
Once the approval has been given, it will be a matter for individual airlines to judge whether there is consumer demand for these services.
Is the service available yet? Your airline will tell you if and when services are or will be available on its routes.

What's the difference between Available Flights Only and Lowest Fares?
|
|
If
you choose 'Available Flights Only' (which is the default, by the way),
the system will search through all our databases to find the cheapest flight for
you on the dates and times you want to travel. You can go through and
book these straight away.
If you are more flexible with your travel dates, you should choose the
'Lowest Fares' option. When you choose this option, the system will display the
very cheapest fares to your destination in the season you want to travel.
You can then select up to three of the fares at a time to check availability.
ebookers has millions of discounted and negotiated fares with over 120 airlines,
so the chances you'll get a cheap flight are in your favour. Sometimes,
though, you'll find that the Lowest Fares will not be available at busy
times, so you may need to try different travel dates until you find availability.

How
do I get a refund?
|
|
Air
tickets returned for refund are subject to a minimum cancellation charge
of £100 per ticket, irrespective of the number of tickets returned.
Tickets are presented to the respective airline or consolidator for assessment.
Refunds by airlines or consolidators for part-used tickets are always
less than pro-rata and in some cases there may be no refund value whatsoever.
Refunds will not be paid to you until they have been received by the Company
from the relevant airline or consolidator. This usually takes 8-10 weeks
but in some cases (e.g. lost tickets) it may take considerably longer,
i.e. up to 9 months.
